HI everyone I have successfully installed pwnpad ce onto my Nexus 7.Not coming from an IT background really this has been both a fun ad challenging task. This forum has provided a lot of answers! I have got wifite to capture the handshake from my router (I was pretty excited when this happened) But then when it said "starting WPA cracker on handshake" it promptly stopped and gave me the following message no WPA dictionary found! use -dict <file> command-line argument Now I just know someone out there in pwnpad land will know exactly what to do. ANY help is greatly appreciated Thanks again everyone |

Grantm, I would suggest not cracking the wpa capture on your pwnpad. I've tried using aircrack and I watched as my batter drained 10 percent in a few minutes and got hot. Desktops are way more powerful for this type of work. However, if you still want to do this you can use a few options from wifite itself. Open up wifite:
Then find the line that mentions a dictionary file locations and then add a txt/dic file. Or you can run wifite with a command:
What I would suggest doing is not going this route but transferring saved capture files (you can set that in wifite also) to your computer then using either pyrit, aircrack, or ocl-hashcat. Your GPU will handle cracking these captures WAY better. |

All excellent ideas and worth a try thanks! How do I set wifite to transfer to my computer? And are they commands or software that I need to use? (pyrit, aircrack, or ocl-hashcat) I know aircrack may be a command im just not sure. Thanks again for the help |

Re: copying files from the Pwn Pad to a USB stick If using the latest image made available since May, 2014 you should find a shortcut to an application called "Captures Dump", which when run will copy all of the files from the /captures directory (and all subdirectories) to the USB stick. Assuming of course you plugged one into the device beforehand. |
