Okay i am having one issue...

I just switched my home router from WPA2 to WEP to test out wifite with my TP-LINK and it took like 2 minutes for wifite to crack my home router. I was amazed at how well it worked on my tablet!

One thing though...

After WIFITE reached 10,000+ ivs it started cracking which is normal and then it displayed the password..

After it displayed the password within 1-2 seconds the screen was gone and the menu screen for wifite came up asking do you want option 1 2 3 or 0 to exit.

Any idea on how we can slow down the screen when it displays the password? Or how we can fix this small issue?

I would love to hear anyones input on the subject..

Thank you all for your time,

Sounds like a wifite problem that would need editing in the source code. Not something I would feel the need to do. Plus I think the cap files are saved in case you need to crack them again but I forget where.

Has anyone else come across this problem with WIFITE clearing the screen from a cracked wifi key?...

I am sure there has to be something we can edit to slow it down from clearing the screen to the menu?

Oh now that i think about it...

I think what happened is when i ran the wifite app it brought me the command prompt instead of booting the app (which is okay a simple reboot or rerunning of ssh keys fixes this problem) and i ran ./wifite.sh manually and a screen menu of options came up which i hit "1 for regular wifite"

Maybe that is why the screen flashed by so fast because after it cracked my home key it went back to that option 1-4 for wifite.

What do you guys think?...

So last night on xmas eve i wanted to show my uncle what i had done to my Nexus 7 with the TP-LINK. My Uncle is a big Android Fan who has his own tablets with custom Roms and Rooted phones. Anyways...so i booted up my tablet and I was able to crack his home router (WPS) in about 3-4 minutes with WIFITE. Why i am telling you all this is because the screen did not go away and it displayed the wifi key password and the screen did not flash away.

This had to be an issue with running Wifite from the menu options when i ran the wifite shell script from terminal emulator manually.

@BINKY BEAR

Wifite keeps the cracked keys in a text file called cracked.txt. It is in the same directory that wifite is in which i think is /opt/pwnpad/wifite if i remember correctly.

Thank you so much brother!

Has anyone here been able to get the updatetermv0.5.zip (kismet screensize fix) to work with the Nexus 7 2013 tablet? I tried flashing the zip and i got "zip successfully flashed" but then i got the same error when i tried to flash kalipwnpadv0.5 -> "unable to load ramdisk". When i rebooted and loaded up Kismet the terminal was the same size so the zip did not change anything...

I was wondering if anyone here has come across this issue and maybe has a fix of some sort?

Thank you all for your time and assistance!

Yes the v0.5 Update Version works. Kismet is not in fullscreen but it does the job!

Has anyone been able to get airodump-ng in the android terminal emulator? Every time I run it I just get a blank screen but I can run airodump-ng in the vncserver with the xfce terminal.

Has anyone tried airodump-ng with maybe any other terminal emulator?..

Thanks

Oh...

I wanted to let everyone know that the command "lsusb" works great in Kali Linux on Kali PwnPad. To put it on your system run the command 'apt-get install usbutils'. When I tried it the command showed my TP-Link USB WiFi device attached. This could be useful for debugging...
